| so i got called super last minute by some chick to dj for her birthday party. i thought hey, why not, i could use the money and how can i turn down djing. went over there to a tinyass apartment. didn't think it could be that fun. a group of white, geeky-looking kids rolled in, i'm like dam, this is gonna be boring, wheres the wifi at? things finally picked up shortly after 11:30 or so. not a bad crowd, everyone was pretty into it and was dancing after drinking. dam party went by smoothly w/ the window wide open and my volume turned up to the max, crazy. i usually set my laptop to the side so it's more stable, but i had to set it on my mixer in between the turntables tonight since they gave me a very small table. this a-hole bumps into the dam thing and it falls on the ground, touching the stickass jungle juice spills. i'm like what the hell man...motherfucker kept saying sorry, but i didnt forgive his ass, too pissed. another bad thing was that i didnt move or tell people to move their dam drinks off my table. there were hella spills. my serato box got wet, my cables for sure [wiping cables is a bitch], my briefcase got wet. i didn't the party was going to get that crazy so i didnt pull out my NO DRINK sign. Must remember to put that up everytime now before it gets crowded...other than those 2 bad factors, it was a pretty fun party. some of the white girls appreciated the older shit that i played. i gotta say, i still think my best crowd would be a group of white ppls in the mid-late 20's to mid 30's. 90's hiphop, 80's classic shit all night

| There are always a lot of thoughts come up when I'm djing during a night. I thought I'd write some up from last night's halloween party for people to see.
-in a span of 15 minutes, I got like 10 requests for "tie me down" by new boyz. very surprising, I didn't know that song was popular. when I finally played it, these 2 girls were like "thank you, good dj, good dj" wtf, i have to play ur song to be a good dj? stupid bitch
-some guy requested lady gaga, probably for his girl cuz i overheard them complaining how i didnt play 1. impatient
-some dude dressed like hes all hard asked for some song that I didn't have, then asks "do you have any 'Jerk' songs?" wtf, does it look like I wanna play music for you to masterbate to?
-I met a girl that supposedly DJs, very interesting. why didn't I get her #
-Party In the USA was a big hit again? I thought it was already played out so I wasn't gonna play it til I got a request
